Our Roasts en Croûte are a very popular holiday item. Beautifully presented, they provide a fabulous alternative to typical holiday fare. Our Christmas Wellington can have either Portuguese pate, or mushroom and chestnut duxelle. All wrapped in savoury presunto ham.
Our salmon en croûte is stuffed with mixed aromatic vegetable dice and served with a shallot, chive and tomato cream sauce.
Carved at tableside by your private chef, or delivered to you for you to surprise your guests!
Christmas Turkey Dinner
The turkeys in Portugal and the Algarve can get quite large. They are a natural product with not a lot of fat, so extra pan gravy is the call of the day.
We can offer this feast English style, American style, or any style you prefer.
Although you can choose to have any accompaniments you wish, we are partial to American sage and cornbread dressing/stuffing, homemade cranberry sauce, crispy roast potatoes, brussel sprouts with cream and marjoram, and any assortment of vegetable based on your preference.
If you want to go American, you can have fresh pumpkin pie with whipped cream. However, staying traditional will get you wonderful homemade Christmas pudding with hot custard or Brandy sauce.
Roast Duck Feast
The Algarve has lots of fresh – never frozen – ducks. We roast our ducks stuffed with citrus and aromatics until the skin is crisp and golden. Serve with a delicious port gravy and any sides of your own choosing.
As always we can cater your Christmas anywhere in the Algarve for either delivery, or full service with chef and staff.
Bespoke Christmas Cakes and Puddings
Traditional English fruit pudding filled with rum and ready for you to set alight.
Or a rich and moist chocolate pudding – it is up to you.
Or a selection of alternative desserts including our signature chocolate-rum-truffle cake, super-moist carrot cake, banana-walnut loaf, traditional mince pies or any dessert that takes your fancy.
We offer delivery and can even include hot mulled wine!
